Cheesy Caulicaps
When you really just want something quick yet different as a side dish, this recipe is for you. I absolutely love making it and it tastes brilliant with pretty much everything and anything. It is cheese heaven with the goodness of tasty vegetables in it too.
Step 1. Chop up some cauliflower
Step 2. Put it in a pan to boil
Step 3. Whilst the cauliflower is boiling, chop up a whole pepper
Step 4. Get a pan, add some oil, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger and chilli – let it heat up and cook a little
Step 5. Add the chopped peppers and let them cook for five minutes
Step 6. By this point, the cauliflower should be cooked (providing you kept it on a high heat to boil), then add the cauliflower too ensuring it the cumin seed, garlic, ginger and oil covers it. Give it a further five minutes to cook and transfer flavours.
Step 7. Pop it into an oven safe dish and sprinkle some cheese over it
Step 8. Make cheese sauce, now I cheated because it is one thing I cannot make well from scratch! I let Mr. Colman help me out on this part but I had to add some extra cheese for thickness and taste.
Step 9. Pour the cheese sauce over it and pop it in the oven at around 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
Step 10. Serve and enjoy!
