OOTD: Denim & Cherry Checks

As the warmer weather approaches, out comes one of my very first loves… my denim jacket. It is such a practical jacket that offers that protection from the summer evenings chills whilst giving an outfit a completely different and casual feel. Denim is a true classic. I feel that everyone should own a denim jacket once in their life, you are missing out if you haven’t!

Even though the shirt is quite a casual sort, the denim jacket compliments the casual theme but it has been dressed up with a simple black lower half.

My favourite thing about this cherry red checked shirt and this denim jacket is how the colours match so wonderfully. I will admit, I did spend a lot of time pondering over this shirt, to buy or not to buy? As you can tell, ‘to buy’ won and it came home with me!
