The Grooming Box By Neal’s Yard Remedies

Everyone has heard of Neal’s Yard Remedies, a London based organic skincare brand that produces only the very best products. If you haven’t heard of them, you better had, stat. Either pop into one of their stores or visit their website – you will be glad you did.

As men’s grooming and skincare routines are on the up, growing faster and bigger than ever, most skincare and beauty brands have followed suit and I am so glad Neal’s Yard is making something for the lads now. Even though i’m not phased by something that isn’t branded with ‘men’ on it.

Let’s find out what is in this little box of goodies. Drum roll… Introducing… The Men’s Organic Grooming Box.

A fantastic little trio of grooming products. Packed with lovely refreshing scents, natural ingredients adding goodness to your skin and putting the enjoyment back into skincare without any nasty chemicals, packed in a elegant blue box that just makes the perfect gift.

As the days shorten, you rise when it is dark and by the time you leave work it is dark too, it can make you feel a little lethargic. NYR Invigorating Body Wash is the answer to that problem! A gel wash that will literally give you kick of life in the morning, getting you ready for the day ahead. It contains a dash of refreshing witch hazel with a blend of calendula to keep the skin moisturised too.

If you are like me and like cream based shaving creams rather than the cold gloopy gels, then the NYR Close Shave Cream will become your best friend. It works perfectly with a shaving brush, working in the thick cream into your facial hair. The cream cleanses the hairs with purifying red astringent apple and softens the hairs with olive oil which means it makes it easier for the razor to get closer to the skin for the perfect shave.

The final product in the box is a fragrant NYR Calming After-shave Balm. I am prone to getting irritated skin after I shave my neck area, which makes it brilliant for that issue as soothing calendula and lavender in it. However, it is also good practise to follow up with a balm, tonic or cream post-shave. NYR called it a balm, however I would make it is more like a milky lotion, which makes it easy to apply everywhere without a mass residue left on the face.

I think this is a wonderful little number from NYR and a nice introduction to what will hopefully be many more products dedicated to men.
